The March Kanata Skating Club (MKSC) is proud to announce that it has been awarded the honour of hosting the Skate Canada – Eastern Ontario SPECIAL OLYMPICS Regional Invitational Competition. MKSC will be hosting this competition in conjunction with the Skate Canada Eastern Ontario Section and Special Olympics Ontario at the John G. Mlacak Arena in Kanata on 15 January 2012.

Eastern Ontario athletes will compete for skating honours during this popular event. Each athlete has established personal challenges with strength, determination and fortitude, which allow them to achieve remarkable success in skating!

The MKSC Special Olympics Committee requires coordinators for the following:

Security
Decor
Runners/Ice Patchers
Facility Liaison
Operations
Data Team Liaison
